Account & Data Deletion

If you signed in to StoryForge with your Google account, you can delete your account and all server-side data associated with it at any time. Deleting your account removes your email address, display name, profile picture reference, session tokens, and subscription records from our servers.

Your locally stored stories and game progress are not affected — they never leave your device unless you delete the app data yourself.

Option 1: Delete from the app (recommended)

1. Open the StoryForge app.
2. Tap your account avatar at the top of the home screen.
3. Tap Delete account, then tap again to confirm.

Option 2: Delete locally without an account

If you never signed in, we hold no personal data on our servers. All your data lives on your device:

1. Clear the app's data: Settings → Apps → StoryForge → Storage → Clear data (Android).
2. Or simply uninstall the app — this removes all local data.

Option 3: Request deletion by email

Email us at zx@paxar.tech with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the address you signed in with. We will process the deletion within 30 days.

Note: Deleting your StoryForge account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop recurring payments, cancel the subscription in Google Play subscriptions.
